Original artwork description:

In this series of paintings I have tried to capture the essence of being out in the landscape, feeling, seeing and hearing with all my senses. The paintings have emerged out of a long process of studying the lines, forms and shapes of the landscape and how it changes with wind, sun and rain. I have used oil paint with thinners, layering the paint and making distinct marks with graphite pen to accentuate details that are more permanent.

The image is painted on canvas board and would look best framed.
