China Cove in Point Lobos is famously known for its emerald luminous water. I have always been attracted to a bright turquoise color of water in the shallow part of the cove, and the greenish-blue rock shadow. This 6"x8" oil painting features thick, sweeping brushstrokes to showcase the movement of the water, reflections, and the texture of the cliffs.



Materials used to create this artwork:
Oil on Claessens Double Oil Primed linen on 6"x8"x7/8" cradled Professional Art Panel. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. Ready to be displayed on a desk or hung on a wall.
