An affordable way to own an original and unique piece of art for your home decor or for your art collection.

A beautiful and tasteful figure study embroidery of a nude male in a bending pose. This is an original piece and not a print. The piece has been completed in my studio from studies taken from life drawing sessions.

The artwork has been hand embroidered onto a beige 100% cotton material using cotton and embroidery floss and is hand stretched over wooden canvas stretchers.

The art work measures 15.75 x 19.75 inches, 40 x 50 cm.

The human figure is my primary inspiration in drawing and painting, to explore the possibilities of line, shape, colour and form.

This piece was inspired by my fascination with the embroidery process of many small, tiny stitches combining to produce a complex image.

From originally attending life drawing classes as an aid to my studies in art, the human figure has since become my abiding passion to explore my creativity in a multitude of media - drawing, painting, collage and even embroidery.
