Original artwork description:

A fantastic way to own an original art piece for your home décor or for your collection.

The piece is a hand embroidered female nude figure study, completed in my studio from life drawing studies.

The piece has been embroidered using coloured embroidery thread onto cotton material, and stretched over traditional canvas stretcher bars, making an original and unique life drawing.

The artwork measures 30x40cm, and is hand stretched on canvas stretcher bars.

The human figure is my primary inspiration in drawing and painting, to explore the possibilities of line, shape, colour and form.

From originally attending life drawing classes as an aid to my studies in art, the human figure has since become my abiding passion to explore my creativity in a multitude of media - drawing, painting, collage and even embroidery.
