The painting Embrace the Waves is meant to convey optimism and a carefree spirit. It aims to capture the themes of trying new things without restraint or judgment. The artwork is intended as a motivational metaphor that behind even the dreariest of days, the sun continues to shine if only we summon the courage to open our eyes to it. The waves in the picture represent the inner fortitude and resolve we all possess to overcome any challenge life may throw our way. Though storms may come, brighter days are always on the horizon if we have the bravery to ride out the turbulence and greet the sunlight. The piece as a whole is meant to spread a message of hope and cheer.
