Everything has a beginning and an end. And it teaches us not to get attached to what surrounds us, but to live with the understanding that we need to appreciate every beautiful moment in our lives. The painting is part of the series "Music of Flowers" and on one of the rose petals you can see the stanza with the opening notes from Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata". The flowers of these beautiful roses areas if illuminated by the glow of the moon.
The painting is covered with fir lacquer, the ends are painted.
