Original artwork description:

The only eye that shows the face in the foreground with the only eye visible in the part of the face that outlines close to the centre of the painting, scrutinizes, questions or ideally heads towards an "elsewhere". They also do so through the seal of a fan of cards that partly conceals and divides them, but perhaps largely unites and reveals them. The painting, in surrealist style, is dominated by a glimpse of the main Florentine church, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which seems to be set between the two mysterious faces.
