Original artwork description:

My painting of Elsie is constructed with layers of quick impressions of her various body parts & movements as she changes poses & directions during a modelling session. I used a linear style to build the composition in colourful complementary colours of orange - blue, yellow - purple and deep turquoise.
I love to work quickly to music, painting the live model with spontaneity in the moment.

Painted during a Friday morning Dynamic Drawing session at Byron Bay, Australia.

Painted on canvas. The composition extends right to the edges to wrap around a timber frame. Please check studio view (thumbnail left of main image). Sold un-stretched & unframed. There is an 8cm border on all sides to enable stretching over a timber frame.
