This is one of a series of portraits painted almost entirely from the imagination. The process was about trying to create a portrait from nothing that embodied it's own character and personality. The portraits are named when they are finished and I feel like I've gotten to know the subject throughout the process of it's creation. In this case, "Elise" seemed just right.


This was made with highest quality acrylic paint, gold foil, collage elements and plenty of love. It sits on a stretched, gallery wrapped canvas measuring 11" x 14"with 1.5" sides. Comes ready to hang.
