Elisa 16x12 Oil On Paper_x000D_ _x000D_ I have no set way of painting the human face. I start with the thought and the face changes as I paint, almost dictated by the canvas texture. This is why I very rarely make preparatory sketches. I find they do not transfer well, almost like it goes from sincere to insincere._x000D_ _x000D_ The original oil on canvas comes with a certificate of authenticity and they are packaged up extremely carefully, as to allow for a safe journey to your home._x000D_ _x000D_ Ryan I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
