Elfrida came into existence a while back. This image was originally part of a series of unpublished illustrations to a little known Saga. It was more recently turned into an etching but only had a short run as the plate was damaged. Now we have Elfrida 2
, which I hope has a better fate ! In the Saga the Egg eventually hatches and produces a rather fierce Dragon
