I was born in South Africa and even though I have spent most of my life in London Africa has a magnetic pull on me and when I am there it still feels like home. The power of the ambience in the Bush in Africa is impossible to really describe. It is constantly awe inspiring. This scene I have painted is of a peaceful and calm serenity of Elephants at Dusk. I find fewer things are as beautiful as the calm movements of Elephants in a calm state
