Their wrinkles give them a certain personality.This African elephant looks dynamic and powerful, painted in loose and impressionistic style watercolors. Colors have been kept to the minimum, creating a monochromatic effect.I have used Daniel Smith's Moonglow for shadows - a deep purple leaning towards grey- and a little yellow ochre to depict the lighter areas.
The saved specs of white paper create contrast and help uplift the painting. Background has been done very loosely,too - mimicking a troubled sky.

The Artwork will come unframed and flat packed.
