Original artwork description:

This is an experimental piece using watercolor and permanent inks. The white areas were preserved with white paint. When dry, three colors of permanent ink were applied. After this stage of the process dried, the piece was washed with water to remove the white paint. Later light watercolor washes were applied. This technique gives the piece a wood block look.
