‘Elements I’ is an oil painting on linen made at my studio in Cadiz, southern Spain. Like much of my work, the inspiration is the coastal landscape of the Costa de la Luz, an area of Spain renowned for its brilliant light which has for centuries acted as a magnet to artists. This particular piece, with its brooding aspect and shadowy secrets, is left for the viewer to find their owning meaning within the painting.
This oil on canvas is 60 x 74 cm and framed in a slim black frame.
