A very original and dramatic piece of contemporary abstract art.

This is quite a large painting, and would enhance any home or office space.

The painting is comprised of many layers of paint. This is built over a textured background surface. The texture is made from crumpled tissue paper, sand and acrylic mediums. Everything is sealed with varnish to give a strong and lasting finish. There are several close up photos to show you the interesting effects achieved by working this way. I really enjoyed creating this painting!!

The colours are natures own shades of blues, browns, terracottas, creams and whites. The colours continue over the sides of the painting.

The information says "ready to hang". However I appreciate that you may not want to hang it the way I have chosen, I supply the d rings and cord so you can choose which way to hang the painting. I have added a photo showing the painting 4 different ways. You could change it from time to time, as it does look considerably different hung horizontally or vertically.

This is being sold at a very fair price. I have sold similar in galleries for over £600.
