Original artwork description:

I took the “lucky” photo from which I drew this painting on a summer day, in the countryside toward the sea. I have been photographing skies, clouds of all kinds and thunderstorms for as long as I can remember, but I had never been faced with such a peculiar sky. That powerful big cloud on the blue sky and that lonely burst of rain in the distance struck me to the heart: Mother nature is so beautiful!

With this painting I won first prize in the “Artinborgo Suvereto artist label” competition in October 2023.

Oil on jute canvas. The painting has a simple black frame, handmade with wooden laths painted and nailed to the canvas.
The signature is present both on the front and back of the canvas. The painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
