Original artwork description:

This piece is a realistic depiction of an animal's skull in ruin, being inhabited by a viper. What is striking about the piece is the realism in the skull's teeth and the cracks produced by the viper's force when it wraps around it. In the end, I thought I would go a different route than what most would expect, so I introduced a contrasting color for each creature, and if you get close enough, the purple inside the skull produces this neon light that makes the painting stand out in the dark.
