Original artwork description:

The Elbe with its harbour cranes lay before me like a ribbon on that Sunday in February. The Elbe beach was slowly filling up and I looked out from Övelgönne at the huge yet somehow graceful cranes. Every now and then a ship sailed past. A beautiful day!

This painting was the result of this inspiration. The colour was applied in several layers on acrylic filler. The canvas structure disappears completely. The edges are black, the painting can be hung without additional framing.
