The painting EL SILENCIO DE LA LUZ (THE SILENCE OF LIGHT) is a true poetic reflection on light and silence. How can you capture the silence through light in a picture? How can an artist plastically represent such an abstract concept? I tried and hope you feel it.

The bright light that shrouds the layers of paint swallows up the colors and radiates a deep silence, the silence of light in visual metaphors.

This painting has multi layers of acrylic paint on canvas making this work highly textural. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars.
The sides are painted so the art work is ready to hang. The signature was scratched into the paint when it still was wet.

The artwork comes signed with a certificate of authenticity by the artist and it will be shipped stretched in a cardboard box.
