I am an avid reader of the national geographic and also a keen sketcher. I saw this image of imprisoned MS-13 gang members and could not resist the composition. Each person was so separate but the image worked beautifully as one, which is why I decided to separate them in their own monochromatic tones.

Running across the cell is an abstracted hammock complete with a bottle of the world's second most popular soda brand.

Materials used:

Pencil and acrylic on 250gsm paper.
