Original artwork description:

In this sculpture, I harmoniously blend the earthy robustness of terracotta. My intent was to create a dynamic juxtaposition between the rugged, textured base and the elegantly ascending forms that seem to reach out, seeking light. This piece embodies resilience and aspiration, qualities that I believe will inspire and energize any space it inhabits.

Hand build base where hand thrown ceramic vessels on top. White glazed. Fired twice at 1180°c.
