This is an impressionistic painting of the very well known and much photographed Eilean Donan Castle in the Western Isles of Scotland.
I took so many photos during our trip around the area - none seemed to capture the feel of the place. The painting attempts to capture the feel of the place rather than recreate the scene. Layers of history, water and weather, light and dark and the beautiful colours of the Scottish landscape.
The painting is supplied in white mount. and will fit a frame 50cm x 40cm.
