I love all birds, and as an object of painting I especially single out long-legged ones - flamingos, storks, cranes and herons.
An egret, a white heron - first of all, like all herons, is a symbol of curiosity. In addition, it symbolizes vigilance and calm.
The heron personifies tact and delicacy, as it takes off without muddying the water.
In Egypt this Solar Bird is a symbol of the morning (rising) Sun and is revered as the creator of light. Therefore, it is believed that the heron is a symbol of rebirth, the renewal of life.
