Ta has a vibrant personality and loves nothing more than a happy toe-tapping audience appreciating melodic jazz. Jazz and lady in red oozes musical finesse and sultry song.
The Egg collection is a play on Ta's childhood memories. Her mum would prepare a daily lunch box for her to take to school as there were no cooking facilities. When the lunch bell rang, the children would sit on the floor together and eat their lunch. Almost every other day, her mum would prepare a Thai speciality of a fried egg on rice. The other kids would tease her and say, "Ta! fried egg again?
You will begin to start looking like a fried egg soon!". It's these comments that allow her to weave her childhood musings into her art in a playful way. "I used to plead with my sister to have something different, but we had many chickens and many eggs, so it was always fried egg on rice".
Happily, my work is dotted across the world in over fifty three countries. I come from very humble beginnings and a rural farm in northern Thailand. To see my work in homes across
