By choosing watercolour, I can use its transparency to produce a third colour from two. This then gives rise to an extra set of curvy forms. The result is to allow the eye to not be held by the lines painted but to follow lines implied. Sometimes the surface no longer appears static. For some, this may then make them think of water or plant forms, but that's for the individual viewer.
