Screen print on paper from a series of experiments depicting the Aurora Borealis. Each screen print is slightly different and has a title which is a different name or description of the Aurora Borealis.

Edthin - caribou cow- is a Native American word describing the Aurora Borealis, and the vivid colours of the print are inspired by the magnificent colours it displays in the sky. When a hairy deer or caribou skin was briskly stroked with the hand on a dark
night, it would emit many sparks of electrical fire, similar to the auroral light.

This is a varied edition, meaning each print is in a series, but each one differs slightly due to the nature of the printing process, making it a unique piece
