"Edith Was Having An Emotion" - oil on cradled wood panel, 24 x 36 x 1.5 inches. Ready to hang.
“I was having an emotion, and I hate that.”
― MURDERBOT, Martha Wells, Exit Strategy
In the search to capture emotion in art, I found myself deep into a series of bots...bots in ballgowns, bots in petticoats, bots in kimonos, bots with orb heads. The question is: can an emotionless thing evoke emotion? In fiction (i.e. MURDERBOT) the answer is yes. And in art? Well, the group of emoting bots in my studio also say yes. Sometimes being an artist is the greatest possible adventure. :)
This piece is sold unframed but ready to hang. It will be carefully packaged in mostly repurposed shipping materials. Customs fees and duties are the responsibility of the recipient.
This item is an original work of art. Copyright owned by Lola (Jen) Jovan.
