Original artwork description:

Struck by the light, the angular corners, the variety of earthy colours, I decided to paint this scene, a snippet of Edinburgh at the meeting of the New Town and the Water of Leith, a place I remember from years ago. Here the road climbs sharply, whilst to the right it vanishes in shadow. The work is full of life, of colour and makes a perfect addition to any collection of architectural art. A great gift.

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.

Materials used:

acrylic and card
