The winter of 2017/18 returned us all here to a very cold Edinburgh winter. Here I am looking down the steps of The Vennel towards Edinburgh Castle. I always wanted to paint it in the snow, and this winter provided such an opportunity. I hope to do a few more paintings based on my experience there that day.
