Edgy Beurré Bosc Pear No.2 is part of a new series of still lifes where I began with a layer of Burnt Sienna and Unbleached Titanium. Once the composition was complete I added colour.
Painted in an impressionist style, perfect for the home or as a gift.
The objective with this series is to create a still life where there's an energy and liveliness to the subject.
The painting will fit in any frame designed for an 6 x 8 inch (15 x 20 cm) as seen in the display photos. Taken with the glass out the 3 mm sealed MDF board is a perfect fit.
