The Apple Store Chicago with it's cutting edge Mac-Book inspired roof, glass walls and amazing city views, captured by photographer William Dey.
"Every design feature minimizes the boundaries between the interior and exterior, including the ultra-thin roof and 32-foot glass walls. The architects also tapered the metallic-colored roof’s edges so it visually rests more lightly on top of the glass."
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be donated to The Chicago Architecture Center. Formerly known as the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the Chicago Architecture Center is a nonprofit cultural organization with tours, exhibitions, programs and events for all ages. Their mission is to inspire people to discover why design matters.
