One of two paintings I have made of this view of a field in Fife, Scotland. It is a field along the edges of which wild flowers have been allowed to grow - mainly poppies. I wanted to communicate the contrast of the crop in the field with the poppies along the edge of it. Both have a wonderful sense of freedom and life.
