Original artwork description:

I was inspired to paint this scene by the atmospheric perspective of multiple layers of tree lines and mountain ranges behind the front row of aspen trees.

This painting is framed in a 3 1/2"-wide floater frame with a black rubbed finish with a warm reddish umber undertone. A floater frame gives an art the illusion of floating inside the picture frame without touching it, which creates an interesting visual detail and a sense of three-dimensional depth in the overall display. It allows you to see the sides of the canvas, which is valuable for a small 6"x6" painting.
