Title - Echoes of the Water Garden

"Echoes of the Water Garden" is part of my waterlily pond series, inspired by my daily walks by the water gardens. It captures the spirit of the garden as the seasons change, reminding us to slow down and enjoy nature’s gentle beauty. Whether it's sunny or rainy, the magic of the garden stays the same.

Imagine a quiet pond, dotted with floating waterlily leaves, the warm sun on your skin, and the light changing as the day passes. I painted this piece using palette knives, with layers of acrylic, textured ceramic, and stucco underneath, and oil paint and textured knifed over the top.

The blue waterlily pond symbolizes peace, purity, beauty, and positive energy. The texture and layering techniques make this painting very special, creating depth that is hard to capture fully in photos. Please take a look at the close-up images to better see the texture and fine details.

The artwork has been protected with UV varnish . Sides and edges are painted/extended as part of the painting. Painted on a 4 cm gallery wrapped thick edges canvas.
