Rooted Desires explores the sensual entanglement between nature and the human form. The central figure, reclining and immersed in organic shapes, is both part of the earth and separate from it. Thick brushstrokes in soft pinks, greens, and lavenders evoke flesh, flowers, and leaves in a surreal fusion. The background, kept minimal, draws focus to the layered, almost dreamlike inner world of the subject. There is tension and intimacy in this work—feminine energy, vulnerability, and quiet power.
