I did this pleinair painting during Erik Sandgren coastal paint out summer 2024. It's always great fun and I enjoy meeting like minded people. I'm always attracted to reflections so I found a spot where I could catch this walking bridge and the reflections of it and the bright green foliage behind it. I thought the grouping of rocks made some nice contrast to the softness of the vegetation.

"Echoes of Ona Beach" invites you to step into a tranquil, natural sanctuary where time seems to stand still. This 9x12 oil painting captures the idyllic scene of a wooden bridge gracefully arching over a gentle river. The bridge, held steadfast by sturdy concrete pillars, becomes a pathway to contemplation as a solitary figure dressed in blue strolls across it. The surroundings are lush and vibrant, with greenery cascading from the branches of trees and bushes lining the riverbank. Rocky terrain adds texture to the landscape, grounding the viewer in the authenticity of the coastal environment.
