Echoes in the Rain

In the midst of a rainy city evening, shadows blur into the background as faceless figures move through the dimly lit streets. A lone silhouette walks ahead, distinct yet absorbed by the murmur of the crowd. The faint glow of headlights reflects off the slick pavement, painting fleeting memories of a city alive but detached. Beneath the branches of a gnarled tree, the protagonist drifts, haunted by thoughts of the past, trying to find meaning in the facelessness of others and their own reflection in the rain-soaked world.
