Original artwork description:

"Ecchymose" is a highly singular work of art, full of meaning, in which the artist retraces a scar in his own way, using objects and symbols. Life's circumstances eventually dissipate and are transformed into something else which goes elsewhere through the magic of creation. The artist emphasizes color, carefully combining shades of yellow and brown with touches of red through calligraphy. The textures and the capsule in the middle add an enigmatic force to the painting.

Acrylic and mixed media painting on wood 30x30cm, ready to hang.
Signed JlL in the middle with a JlL stamp on the back. Certificate of authenticity.

Materials used:

acrylic, wood, mixed média, tank
