Expressionistic oil painting inspired by Medieval art and Russian icons. The theme of this painting is typical for traditional art of Christian era. Scene of the Ecce Homo is a standard component of cycles illustrating the Passion and Life of Christ. On my painting I have portrayed mostly a Man of Sorrow - the imagined phylosopher and mystic that have punished himself as Jesus Christ that portray of suffering and the degradation of humans through violence and war.
