This print shows an unusual angle of Saltburn Pier, seen during a very low ebbing tide when looking towards the sea front.
It's an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image.
It is a limited variable print from an edition of 20, using Clairefontaine Japanese Simili Printmaking Paper, 130 gsm and Lawrence oil relief printing inks. The image size is 37.5cm x 45cm with a generous margin to allow for framing.
My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.
As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube. If you have any questions, please just get in touch and thanks for taking a look!
