A new work in the genre of satire and humour tells us about a curious lady who gets interested in other people's secrets. Having learnt something incredible her facial expression changes and is filled with amazement and wonder. The stranger's secret overwhelms her with emotion and is likely to become a sweet gossip among her sisters-in-law.
Moral of the story: be as quiet as possible, your words can be heard by curious and restless outsiders.

Oil paints based on natural pigments are used. Damar varnish and linseed oil have been added.

Oil on cardboard. Baguette frame and elements for fixing are not included in the price.

Painting technique - a la prima. Layers of paint thin. Covering varnish was not used.
