Original oil on canvas medium painting stretched on a wooden frame.
Every year I make an attempt to paint magnolia bloom. First painting on a plain air this year. The weather did not cooperate, it was very windy. Impasto.
Using large brushes and pallet knives allows for achieving a very interesting effect of simplicity, lightness, and air.
The master-quality material has been used. Edges of the painting are covered with archival white linen tape for a clean contemporary look. No need for framing. It is ready to hang. Signed on the back.
A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
