This painting depicts an old fashioned high street with a butchers, sweet shop, barbers, bakers and greengrocers. A lady is walking past pushing an old silver cross pram, whilst a gentleman rides his bike past her and a couple of old ladies are having a natter. This painting is based on where I grew up in South East London. It was a much simpler time, when you could pop along to the shops, meet your neighbours outside and have a good old chat.

I love to fill my pieces with loads of things to discover and always love to tell a story in each one, so that hopefully this will be a painting that will keep you smiling for years.
