After a long winter of gales, rain and overcast skies the sun has a little warmth. Looking East from the beach near Newark farm towards the farm of Lopness, Start Island with the Stevenson lighthouse. The remains of a lazy Southerly swell breaks quietly on the mile-long sandy beach.
