A Scottish mountain waterfall landscape winter scene, with a touch of winter snow on the summits of the surrounding hills and a bright shaft of sunlight illuminating the golden orange bracken on the hillside and moorland surrounding the waterfall Eas òir gaelic for golden waterfall flowing down the hills.
In this small study I have tried to convey the atmosphere of the dramatic skies and changing weather of this remote and wild area of the British countryside in muted blue and ochre tones with touches of red and orange.

Painted in a contemporary impressionist gestural style with a palette knife.

Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.

Will require a signature on delivery.
