In this small study I have tried to convey the atmosphere of the dramatic skies and changing weather of this remote and wild area of the British countryside in muted blue and ochre tones with touches of red and orange.
Painted in a contemporary impressionist gestural style with a palette knife.
Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
