Original artwork description:

That early morning in Goa, this time my muse was in a small white lace top, and precious little else. The light catches the side of her face and her breasts under the lace. I was trying to catch the feeling of seeing a half naked woman in the cool morning sun.

This was a difficult painting. It took weeks to get the lace right - trying to balance catching the shapes and not get sucked into painting every thread of the net the lace sits in. I wanted the nipples to be visible, but not too distracting. The overall feeling I was aiming at was to be sexy and provocatively erotic without being too explicit.

Painted from a series of photos I took of her in Goa. We didn't have three weeks there to do the painting....
