Original artwork description:

This drawing is a daytime version of the same view as the Night Lights, Wujie picture. It was drawn from life in the early morning just after sunrise as the distant morning mist was slowly lifting from the mountains. I love the Temples in Taiwan and was very excited to find this one with water filled fields and reflections to work with. At other times of the year the fields would be full of vibrant green rice and crops, which are also beautiful but don’t give as many reflections!
