Original artwork description:

This drawing was done just after sunrise on a bright and hot sunny Autumn morning. I was drawing outside on the balcony and luckily had a small corner of shade to hide in as the very hot morning sun illuminated the view! Even though it was Autumn it was still over 30 degrees! It was nice to see the contrast between the morning mist and light on the mountains and the vibrant colours of the fields. It was fun to try to capture the shapes and shades of the mountains looming high in the background of the scene.
