This Acrylic Paint on Black Paper painting was done in the very beautiful location of Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan. It was done in the early morning as the sun rose over the lake, but as it was beautifully misty it created a very atmospheric bright mist across the lake. I painted it “en plein air” from our hotel room balcony on a very chilly morning! I built up the detail of this painting by delicately overlaying and adding thin layers of transparent Acrylic paint on top of each other to try to recreate the ethereal misty morning light and reflections on the lake.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
